What is Reiki (RAY-kee)?
Reiki is a Japanese modality of alternative energy healing aimed at purifying the energy body and harmonizing the chakras. This practice was initially developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in the 19th century. Dr. Usui introduced a unique approach, harnessing what is commonly referred to as "universal life force" energy, to effectively cleanse and mobilize stagnant energy within the human body.
Should I book a Reiki Session? What is it good for?
Reiki is a highly individualized experience with the primary aim of facilitating the flow of energy throughout the body, thereby enhancing an individual's innate self-healing capabilities by purifying their energy body.
Reiki has been the subject of research that suggests its potential to assist the body in returning to a relaxed state. Which, in turn, may support more effective healing from stress-induced, injury-related, or disease-related ailments.

What Should I Expect in a Reiki Session?
Reiki is typically conducted with the client fully clothed (individuals are encouraged to remove their shoes and jewelry if they wish). Clients will remain in a face-up position throughout the session. The Reiki practitioner will employ techniques that involve either the gentle hovering of hands or light touch on the head and feet.

How often should I get Reiki done?
It depends on the unique needs and goals of the individual. During your initial session, we will collaborate with you to establish a personalized session plan and discuss the frequency of future sessions, tailoring our approach to best suit your specific goals and well-being.
